Types of Brick

Brick is generally divided into two categories in Iran. Unburnt brick and burnt brick. Unburnt bricks are less durable and are used for temporary structures in Iran. Preparation of immovable bricks in 3 stages includes preparation of clay, molding and drying. After molding, the bricks are exposed to sunlight and dried using the sun\s heat. Therefore, they have less resistance to water and fire. These bricks are not suitable for permanent structures.
