Globe Valve Types and Parts
There are three types of globe valves, depend on the type of body available in Iran
Tee type globe valves, Wye type globe valves and Angle type globe valves.
Components of this valve include Body, Disk, Bonnet, Yoke nut, Nuts, Stem, Hand wheel, Back seat, Packing, Gland flange, Gland flower and more
Advantages of A Globe Valve
This kind of valve can also be used as a stop check valve in Iran.
It can shut off well and easily and it has a moderate pressure.
If we want to compare it with a gate valve, it has a shorter stroke but unfortunately, it has a higher-pressure drop in Iran.
